So, you are at the store and you pick up a cox of cereal, or maybe a snack… but then you wonder if the company that makes the item is the sort of woke creeps you should avoid patronizing. How do you find out what is what? Well, turns out there’s an app for that.
If, like me, you are bewildered by Bud Light and its transgender agenda, disgusted by Kellogg’s and is literal 30 years of donating to radical leftists, LGBTQ activism, sick and tired of Hershey’s wokeness, or all done with any of these brands that take your hard-earned money and donating it to anti-American left-wing causes and activism, then you are up a creek when it comes to knowing just which company is a traitor to this nation.
Well, there is a way to find out about the political and social activism of the companies you buy from. It is called “Consumer’s Research.”
Per the group’s website:
OUR MISSION:
Consumers’ Research is an independent educational 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to increase the knowledge and understanding of issues, policies, products, and services of concern to consumers and to promote the freedom to act on that knowledge and understanding.
OUOR PHILOSOPHY:
Consumers’ Research believes that the cost, quality, availability, and variety of goods and services used or desired by American consumers — from both the private and public sectors — are improved by greater consumer knowledge and freedom.
Along with the app, the group also has articles that talk of companies that have gone woke.
Take this one, for instance:
Tax the Poor to Feed the Rich
Woke companies supported legislation to hire an army of 87k new IRS agents to shake down Americans and fund the Left’s green agenda.
In 2022, woke corporations lined up to the radical Inflation Reduction Act. While the deceptively named legislation did nothing to help combat inflation, it did, however, support the hiring of 87,000 new IRS agents to audit Americans. Using this army of new IRS agents, the Left aims to ramp up audits and make Americans pay more taxes to underwrite its radical green agenda. Here are some of the woke companies and executives that supported this massive IRS expansion:
- More than 40 major corporations – including Ford, Levi’s, TicketMaster and more – signed onto a letter pushing the “landmark legislation.”
- Microsoft founder Bill Gates called the legislation “nothing short of extraordinary.”
- Swedish furniture maker Ikea dubbed the legislation “groundbreaking.”
- The CEO of New Belgium Brewing labeled the bill “good for America.”
- Patagonia’s CEO demanded that corporations “unite” behind the radical legislation.
So, if you want a resource that can help you make informed decisions about what products you spend you money on, this might help.
In any case, you can help these companies that Go Woke to Go Broke!
